The LCRS was founded in 1987 by Mr William Jory and was the UKs first dedicated surgical centre for the correction of short-sight, long-sight and astigmatism. Over the years we have been the first in the UK to introduce and develop many new treatments in our attemts to help people escape from their glasses and contact lenses.

Mr David Jory, our main surgeon, even had his eyes treated at the LCRS in 1991 and still does not require glasses, having been short-sighted until then.
